In Tia and Kia’s home.
Tia was inside her and Kia’s room, on a video call with Ismail.
“I miss you,” Ismail said to her.
“You miss me within how many days? I’m back to my house,” Tia said, smiling as she applied scrub on her face.
“Yes, it’s been 2 weeks now, and you’re calling it ‘how many days’?” Ismail said with a baby tone.
“You’re not serious. Do you expect me to pack to your house and start living with you?” Tia replied.
“Yes, that’s exactly what I want. I want to wake up beside you, sleep beside you… I always want to see you around me,” Ismail said.
Tia shook her head slightly.
“Nah, it’s too early for that. We are just starting to know each other.”
“It’s more than 6 months, Tia… and it feels like I’ve known you for a long time now,” Ismail said softly.
“Yeah, I feel the same way… but still,” Tia replied.
As she was about to end the call, Ismail quickly said,
“You forgot something.”
Tia paused.
“What’s that?”
“You forgot to tell me you love me.”
They both smiled.
“I love you,” Ismail said first.
Tia smiled shyly.
“I love you too.”
Then she ended the call.

A minute later, Kamal knocked on Tia’s door and entered.
“Brother, you’re here,” Tia said with a smile.
“Yes, I am,” Kamal replied. “More like you’re starting to get yourself back… and all thanks to Allah. He answered our prayers.”
Tia looked at him and smiled softly.
“Yeah… Alhamdulillah, brother. And I’m even planning on working back. You and Kia can’t be the only ones working. I want to start what I love doing since I’m fine now.”
Kamal smiled proudly.
“Yes, that’s exactly a brilliant idea. You can… but you need to discuss it with Kia. And you know you can’t go too far for now.”
“Yes, brother, I know,” Tia replied.
She paused for a moment before asking,
“When should we go and see mom and dad? It’s been long since we went to their place.”
Kamal nodded.
“Yes, that’s actually the main reason I’m here. We can go next week. Let Kia come back so we can discuss it.”
