Chapter Ninety ~ Deceitful submission
Kira’s POV *********
I watched her step out of the crowd, her eyes fixed on me. She had a deadly stare and I could tell that she knows something about what had transpired that night or she just suspects me.
“ Mother!” I said, in a low warning tone. She would be able to get the message that I want her mouth shut instead.
Luna Pratia cleared her throat, whilst looking at me distastefully. “ I saw Lady Dainyr leaving the Alpha chamber but I couldn’t tell what she was doing there at night.”
Everyone gasped, their eyes falling on me. I could see the accusations in their eyes but at least they aren’t bold enough to say it to my face.
“ Lady Dainyr was the one who served my meal in the chambers. Should there be a reason she was sent instead?” I ask
