Chapter Seventy nine ~ An attempt to escape

I stumbled to the ground just as Garen pushed me from behind, my butt hitting the hard floorboards of the cottage. My eyes slowly roamed around, accessing this new place. It was totally different from Lucian’s cottage. It had more recent paintings on the wall and the chairs even though they were dusty, still looked like it hadn’t been abandoned for a long while. The walls looked worn out, but I could tell this must have some hideout for some of the wandering rogues.
