Chapter Thirty eight: : Found you moved to the kitchen and dropped my cup in the sink. I couldn’t shake the image from my mind, my mind now totally focused on the rock in the photo. It sat just behind the woman, half-submerged in the water, its edges worn smooth by time. There was something hauntingly familiar about it. The bend in the river. The trees leaned like they were whispering secrets. The light catching the edges of the rock like it held meaning. I must have seen that rock before somewhere between training.
