Mrs. Mitchell was a kind-looking elderly woman who nodded and smiled at Emily, “Hello, Ms. Carter.” Despite it being near noon, the outdoor chill made it clear it wasn't the best place for a conversation. Emily softly asked, “Mrs. Mitchell, should we find a place to sit and talk?” Mrs. Mitchell declined with a smile, “No, it’s fine. My legs aren’t what they used to be, and it’s hard to get around.
