“Craig and Ross wanted to come down to Bangkok for a night out, so I hitched a lift with them. I thought I’d surprise you. We can all drive up to Baan Suay together tomorrow… You don’t look very happy to see me.”

“I left them having a couple of beers not far away, but I wanted to come and see you.”
