Complimentary mess

1813 Words
The rest of the night we pass the bong around the circle many times while telling funny stories and play a bit on the Sega. Then the budtender brought us big ass complimentary weed brownies 30 minutes ago. And told us to give it 30 minutes for it to actually kick in. Shit. I don’t know if that should scare me or not. The silver goddess is now swaying to the music that is playing in the background beside me as if she is getting lost in it. Grayson is practically nodding off, Steel is still playing mortal combat on the Sega, and Jax is talking to me about... well shit... I don’t know what he’s talking to me about, but he’s been talking for a long ass time. “You know what I mean bro?” Jax asks and I snap out of my trance and nod. “Yeah bro, I know exactly what you mean.” Not. “Cool, cool. I thought I was the only one who flips his underwear inside out in order to wear it again.” Jax says and my brows scrunch in confusion. “Ew, what?” I ask and he sighs “Have you not been listening to me this whole time?” “Yeah, yeah, I just... zoned out for a bit.” “Well come back to earth, spaceman.” Again I was distracted but this time it wasn’t from my own thoughts but from the cold small hand that is curling around my hand that is resting beside me. I turn towards Zoe and she shivers and blushes lightly. “I’m cold.” She explains and I smile at her before taking both of her hands, bring them up to my mouth and blow hot air on them. Her red-tinged eyes lock on mine adoringly and my heart inflates with a feeling I haven’t felt since Milo died. And that scares the s**t out of me. “Thank you.” She says softly as I rub her hands then let go of them. “Any time,” I say with a shrug. “Aww. How sweet, could you rub my feet Storm? They’re a bit sore.” Jax says and I shoot a playful glare and flick his head. Then it hits me... Well, it hits us all at once. “s**t dude. I think I’m going to lose this stupid game of ours.” Grayson says as he finally talks, and he waves a hand in front of his face. Suddenly the magical fairy wand taps my head and the room turns into a spiral of colors like I’ve never seen before. “Fuck.” I say as I start laughing hysterically and soon everyone else starts laughing at how high they are. “Did they infuse those brownies with acid or some s**t?” Steel asks as he keeps losing the mortal combat fight. “Damn I didn’t realize how sexy Scorpion was. I mean look at those muscles.” Steel says touching the screen and Zoe bursts into another round of laughter. She leans on my shoulder as she holds her tummy and I suddenly feel hypersensitive. “I need to use the bathroom.” She whispers after she finishes laughing. “I’ll come with you, you are in no shape to walk through there on your own.” She nods and stands up, and as if just realizing how high she is she falls back onto the couch. “Maybe I should just sit here.” “Uh ah, come on Silver godess. The royal throne is waiting for you.” She chuckles as I help her stand up and walk her out of the room. one of the bodyguards looks at us as if he was about to stop us and I point to the restrooms. He gives me a curt nod and I walk Zoe past all the people that are too Stoned to recognize me. Thank f**k. Then once we are by the bathroom Zoe stops and then pulls me behind a hippy curtain of rainbow crystals. My heart sores out of my chest as watch her eyes in the dim light that is full of desire. Her chest heaves and her cheeks flush as she looks at my lips. My c**k throbs at the sheer beauty of her. “Zoe, what... what are you...” Then she pulls me by the lapels of my shirt and kisses me so softly, like a whisper. Her breathing uneven, her hands shaking. She pulls back a bit with parted lips as studies my face. Our bodies are buzzing with this high and I can tell she feels just as sensitive as I am. “I’m not done with you,” I whisper against her face as I pull her back to me and smash my lips to hers in a wrecking kiss. Her arms wind around my neck and my hands rest on the silk at her hips and squeeze. I slide my tongue across hers and she moans deeply as she presses her body flush to mine. Her tongue sliding across mine lights a fire within me. I’m sure she can feel my hard-on I have for her, and she nips at my bottom lip. “f*****g hell,” I say before sucking her bottom Lip into mine and pulling back with a satisfying pop. The lust in her eyes at this moment is enough to make me drop to my knees and satisfy this silver goddess, but then she backs away. “I actually do need to use the bathroom.” She says before walking towards the bathrooms beside us. She’s regretting it. f**k, I know she is, but now I know I want more of her. Zoe POV: What. The. f**k. Did. I. Just. Do!? I walk into the bathroom and sit over the toilet, and now I’m starting to panic. I just kissed Storm! One minute I was wondering what his lips would feel like against mine and the next I’m making out with him in a way I never felt before. There is no taking that back, it was amazing and I know he liked it too since his hard-on was pressed to me. Just the thought of that makes me want to do it again. But I know better than to make the same mistake more than once... a night. After washing my hands I walk out and see a girl standing in front of Storm batting her lashes at him and he leans back uncomfortably. She touches his arm and he pulls it away. My blood boils as I take Storms’ hand and pull him away from the girl, who is now glaring at me. “He’s gay,” I tell her before pulling him back to VIP. “I’m bi.” he corrects me as of I didn’t already know, and I chuckle. “Duh, but you looked a bit uncomfortable back there. It must suck to be famous and loved by cool people, but also creepy people.” I tell him and he shrugs. “For a second I thought you were just jealous.” “No way.” Wait... was I? I shake my head. “Just looking out for you.” I clarify when out of nowhere I get pushed aside as a bunch of fans reach for Storm. I call out to the bodyguards and they run towards us, then I get pushed again and fall to the ground. “Everyone, get the f**k away from him!” One bodyguard yells as the other pulls crazed fans that came out of nowhere off Storm. “Zoe!” I turn to see Steel make his way towards me with concern on his face, and he pulls me up gently. “s**t. Are you okay?” He asks me as the chaos continues around us, and suddenly the adrenaline makes me feel soberer. “I’m okay, let’s get out of here please.” He nods and leads me through the crowd. “Oh my gosh, it’s Steel!” A fangirl yells to her friends and they run towards us. Steel holds his hand out to them. “Stay back!” Steel warns them and they stop in their tracks looking offended. People just don’t respect personal boundaries. They think celebrities are not people themselves. “Is Storm going to be okay?” “Yeah, he’ll be fine. I’m sure the bodyguards already escorted him out of the emergency exit. The rest of the guys snuck out the exit as well, and they are waiting in the limo.” “Oh thank goodness.” Steel walks me to the limo and we quickly get in a few minutes later Storm gets in as well. Out of breath. He has a bunch of kiss marks all over his face. His shirt is ripped open, his pants are slightly zipped down, he has scratch marks all over his arms and he looks like he just ran away from hyenas. Poor guy. “Are you okay?” I ask him as I lay my hand on his arm and he snatches it back in a paranoid way until his eyes met mine and he nods. “Yeah sorry. I’ll be okay.” “What the f**k did those chicks do to you?” Grayson asks but Storm gets deadly quiet. His silence speaking louder than words. “I don’t want to talk about it. Alright?” “Fine,” Grayson says leaning back. “Where the hell did all those people come from? I guess word got out we were at the bar, but nothing like that has ever happened to us in a small city like this. New York, maybe, Chicago, definitely, but never here.” Steel says with a confused look. “I’m too high for this s**t,” Jax says as he puts on his hater blockers and shuts his eyes. Storm sighs deeply beside me and stares out the window. He looks traumatized and I want to be there for him but he’s a bit skittish at the moment. After a while of silence, Storm faces me and looks me up and down with concern in his eyes. “Are you okay Zoe? They didn’t hurt you too much did they?” He sounds apologetic, as of it was his fault. “No, they just pushed me around, but I’m not seriously hurt.” He holds my hand that is resting on my thigh, and he rubs it tenderly. “I’m sorry.” He says softly and my heart reaches out to him. “It’s not your fault. I’m more concerned about you.” He shrugs. “I’ve survived worse. I know what I signed up for.” But do I know what I’ve signed up for?
