I woke up feeling pain all over my body and was shocked.

Wait, where am I? This is an hospital. Suddenly, a nurse entered the room and said:

Maam, you need to take a rest for three days so we can monitor you first if there is still something wrong with you.

I became speechless and remembered that I was hit by a car last night and fainted.

May I ask who brought me to the hospital?

'' Oh, it was a tall guy who brought you here last night.''

Okay. Thank you. By the way, did you see my phone?

'' It was over there.'' Pointing at the table near the bed.

Thank you.

The nurse left the room and Scarlett reached for her phone, trying to call someone. After thirty minutes, a girl appeared in the room with a worried expression. Running directly to Scarlett and hug her tightly.

'' What happened to you? Why did you end up suddenly in the hospital? I thought you were..''

Don't ever mention that guy's name. I hate him to the core.

'' Wait, what happened? Did you quarrel with each other? I was gonna punch him right now if I saw him. How did he hurt my best friend''?

We broke up already.. Hmmmmm!!!!

Suddenly, the room is filled with an intense loneliness.

'' You two broke up. What happened?''

I caught him with another woman. That damn man. I really regret falling in love with him.

'' I told you he was a damn playboy, you never listened to me.'' Oh by the way, who brought you here.''

It was the man who hit me last night. I fainted so I didn't clearly see who he was.

'' But why did he bring you to this hospital? Do you know that this is the most expensive hospital in Shanghai? How can we pay for the bill? This could be equivalent to a thousand dollars per day.''

Wait... Whaaaattt.. This is the.. wait call the nurse. I will go home today. I can't afford this.

The nurse entered the room and said:

''Don't worry Miss, the man who brought you here last night paid all the expenses. You just need to recuperate for three days.''

Then the nurse left after she told Scarlett everything.

After 2 days of recuperating in the hospital, Scarlett was finally discharged. Once she reached her apartment, her phone suddenly rang.

On the phone;

'' Good day, Miss Scarlet. We are sorry to inform you that we will fire you due to the decision of higher ups since you didn't appear in the company these days.''

- Wait, let me explain. There's some emergency.

'' We're sorry but the higher ups have already decided and we can't change it. Please get all your belongings here at the company if you have time. Thank you.''

Then the lady hung up the phone.

Scarlett was so sad to hear that she lost her job too. What would she do? How can she pay her bills?

She slumped on the floor and looked so sad she reached for her phone and called Ava to come with her and help her get her belongings on the company, but Ava was busy too, so she coudn't come and help Scarlett with her things. So she decided to go alone to the company and get all her belongings.

As soon as she left the company and reached her apartment, she stared at all her belongings and cried. She decided to go to somewhere else to let her sorrow out. She once stopped at a bar and entered. She ordered whisky to let her sorrow all out and cried.

'' Why is this happening to me? Why am I so unlucky?''

She is already drunk but can still handle herself. After a few minutes, a man appeared near her.

'' Can I order a bottle of whiskey and bring it to the VIP room.'' As soon as the man walked away, Scarlett cried so loud. Ethan turns back and said;

''Are you okay, Miss. You are already drank, you need to go home already. Do I need to call someone to pick you up.''

- Im really okay. I am not drunk. I can still drink a few more glasses.

'' Are you joking. Youre alreadyy...

Suddenly, a man called and said:

'' What took you so long, Ethan? '' It's just a bottle of glass. I thought you already disappeared''

''Boss, something came up so I got delayed.''

- What kind of boss is that he asks you to get some if he wants to get it in seconds. He should get it in person. What a petty guy. Hahahahha...

'' Miss lower your voice if he hears you, he might tear you into pieces.'' Ethan whispered to Scarlett.

William walk towards Scarlet and grab her hand which made her lost her balance and accidentally hugged William.

'' Are you done talking ''. What a really deep sexy and mesmerizing voice. Scarlett look up and their eyes met up and both uttered
