Captivated By His Gaze

While Ivan was busy fighting, I was captivated by his twin's gaze.

When he noticed that I was looking at him, he knitted brows like he was irked by my presence.

Did I do something wrong? No, I don't think so!

He was looking at me like he was going to bite me to death. (Oh that's scary)

"Zoha untie them" -  I heard Ivan shouting near the corner.

I rushed towards Uncle and Eric and untied them.

Then there came another bunch of men. Oh god is it not going to stop? -I thought and stood up...

Did I forget anything?.... Shhh....! I turned around within a fraction of a second and with my heart pumping furiously... I moved towards the king to untie him.

He was not so close to the others so I had to make a run for it.

"Zoha escape.... leave him there...They are after him!"-The three who were already on their way to escape from the palace, screamed as more and more men gathered in the garden.

I hesitatingly took a step backward and saw them making their way towards the exit of the garden.

I...I... I looked back at him who was looking away from me...still I was able to see his face which expressed deep solitude like he already decided that I was not going to save him.
