2. GREEN IS HYPNOTISING

Alice's Pov

I woke up with a smile on my face as finally I was 21 years old and finally eligible to achieve my dream. Although it will be a little secret of mine till my graduation ceremony and after that it will be the time where I need to convince my parents and if everything goes well, I will fly to my destination.

There was smile thinking all these and I prayed Moon Goddess to fulfill my wish as my birthday gift and moved out of the bed not before kissing my baby, my Ollie.

I took the dress which I was going to wear in the college as it was a beautiful summer dress gifted by my dad so it was special.

This violet dress featured a deep V-neckline, full sleeves and a wrap-style in the front that hugged my body and showed off my hourglass figure. I may sound bitchy but it's me I like to dress like a princess.

I took the dress and went to washroom to do my morning chores.

After taking shower, I came out of the wash room. I was not amazed to see my dear cousins sleeping till then . So I decided to do a prank on them.

I knew both of them hate the sound of my singing so I decided to Think up the very worst song I can. I pumped up the karaoke track in such a way that it blast them awake.

Both of them woke up like Zombies and this was the time I wasn't able to control my laughter. It was totally fun. They didn't expected me to do prank on them in this way but I really did it.

"Alice what the hell ! Why did you spoiled our sleep?" Carie asked in an irritated tone.

" Dear Carie and Eda, I have reason behind it, see the time dear we hardly had any time to reach the college on time." I told them calmly.

" My goodness Alice, today we can't afford to be late. " Carie said in a hurry and immediately went to bathroom with a towel.

Whereas Eda told me she will take shower in guest room and took one of my dress of her wish and went out of the room.

Since both of them went out to get ready, slowly I adjust the clock again. Actually it was my plan to change the clock timing so that we could reach college smoothly. I know as soon as they will know about all these things, they will kill me for sure. Since it's my birthday so I guess today I am safe.

Soon I started to do my dressing. I kept it simple by going accessories and opted for simple white strappy stilettos instead. My makeup too was perfect for the summer. My usual glowy-dewy look was complete with a flawless base, filled-in brows, blush cheeks and neutral-toned lips ensured me looked summer-ready. My hair was parted in the centre and styled into messy, tousled waves.

Around 20 minutes later three of us got ready and finally when they took their mobile, they saw the time and immediately they shouted, " Alice, we will kill you. "

I gave them a lame smile and immediately ran towards the kitchen with the hope that Mom will save me from her.

" Baby good morning, happy birthday again. But dear why you are running?" Mom asked me with concern.

"Mom please save me from my evil sisters, see today is my birthday yet they were running behind me like they are going to kill me." I said with a fake frightening voice.

I knew I was evil, since it's my birthday so everyone need to bear my tantrums. Haa Haa Haa... I laughed inwardly.

By that time both Carie and Eda reached kitchen and told everything to my mom. I knew now I would give me scolding but instead she started to laugh while in no time uncle, aunt, dad also started laughing uncontrollably.

We three too started to laugh and after some time we did our breakfast. It was my birthday so every dish were made by mom and each dish were my favorite.

There was German apple pancakes which were better known as Dutch babies in the states. They’re thick, often stuffed, and made with a sweetened pancake batter.

Rather than a stack of individual pancakes, these are baked as one big pancake and sliced to serve.

Second dish was Farmer’s Breakfast (German Bauernfrühstück)

This recipe is a combination of the German potato omelet and the Spanish tortilla. The potatoes will be cooked in a skillet until crisp before adding the onions to soften.

The egg mixture and herbs, including rosemary and basil, get poured right over the top and left to cook.

It was Served in slice from the pan with a heap of bacon and a sprinkling of smoked cheese.

Lastly my favorite dish potato pancake was made.

These pancakes are made with finely grated starchy potatoes, onion, egg, flour, and sea salt.

The trick is to drain and squeeze the potatoes of any liquid remaining. If you skip this step, the pancakes won’t get that gorgeous golden crisp edge.

It was Cooked on high heat and tap the excess grease off onto a paper towel.

After dish dishes were served, everyone of us stood up and prayed Moon Goddess.

We sat down around 1 minute later and ate our breakfast. Around 20 minutes later we had completed our food and finally three of us went out of the house to find out cab so that we could reach the college on time.

Just then dad came out of the house and said, " Alice today Robert will take you all to the college as I ask him to bring something from that area so you all can go. "

" Thanks uncle so sweet of you." Carie said and both the girls took their seat. Now the only person left was me and I hate these tactics of Dad to not send me college in any other vehicles.

I knew he was concern about my safety but now I was 21 years old so I could take care of myself but it was hard for mom and dad to understand.

With no options left, I sat in the car and we started our journey towards the college not before saying goodbye to dad.

Due to traffic, normally we took around half an hour to reach college. Since we were early today, the traffic was almost nill and I hope we will reach college much before time.

" Robert, you are driving very slowly. Since there is less traffic, you could increase the speed of the car." Eda said from the back.

" Yes ma'am I can" Robert said and increased the speed of the car.

In that mean time, Carie played a party song and soon three of us started dancing in the car. It was awesome to enjoy life in this way.

Just we were about to reach college, suddenly a bike came from wrong direction and hit the rear view mirror of our car. It was a huge collision and none of us understood what happened.

Since the collision was made on the rear view mirror of side, I was shaking and people around was saying a lot of things but nothing were reaching my ears. I really don't know what had happened to me.

The only thing I remember before closing my eyes was a person with helmet had opened the door of car from my side and touched my face, I don't know what he was asking but after looking at his green eyes, I was mesmerized. For instance, I forgot what had happened just now I just wanted to experience the freshness and vitality of life. That is why they are so beautiful.

Finally I don't know when I closed my eyes with the dream of those green hypnotising eyes.
