After Agreeing

Nate left me after arguing to protect me every time. He want to protect me, by me staying with him. I don't know what made him, a person like him to take interest on me. But any how I made him accept to live with me in my apartment.

He also tried to make me stay with him, but I usually visit his home whenever I feel like I want to go.

Days went faster than I imagined. Its been six months I met Nate. All these month Nate helped me to learn the language. With his help I was able to obtain documents to live in the country. Still I didn't leave my apartment as I want some more time to adapt.

"knock:knock"

I heard knock on my door. I didn't fear to open door now, no one has courage to offend Nate so they left me alone.

When I opened the door I saw her standing

"Hi, it is late, why haven't you got ready yet.?"

"Oh sorry, I'm almost done." saying so I grabed my things and stuffed in my bag.

Haaa, yes. She is Nacy the girl once I saw near library distributing flyers. We met again, but in a different situation.

She was chased by thief, though she didn't panic but can one the tension in her face. I was with Nate, so I asked his help to save her and he did without any hesitatence.

"Aey, are you here on earth?" she asked as I came out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I am. Just thinking about something." I said as I took my bag. Yes, we started working together but she told me not to ask anything about her. And I did the same as something is worth to wait.

We went down.

"You girls late again." said nate while he was sitting in the car.

"We are never late to our work, you know that" said Nancy.

"Haa, fine. Come on let me drop you before I go for work."

Again it goes, Nancy and Nate gave each other a glare that made me uncomfortable every time. They are hiding something from me, as well I do not want to ask them, but it still bothering me.

We reached our place, Nate dropped us and he went for his work.

It went well as usual, we served customers, cleaned and arranged the shelfs. Though I statred to talk with Nate and Nancy, I still act as mute to avoid any doubt on me.

Our shift was over and was waiting for Nate. Nate told us earlier that he had something came up, and need to be addressed before he leaves for the day.

We waited for a long time, and I thought of asking Nancy to leave early. But she denied and want stay with me until Nate comes and pick us up. If it gets too late for us. I could as her to stay with me tonight and leave tomorrow.

After waiting for a long time, finally Nate reached and picked up us. He was busy with call all the way home and Myself and Nancy were busy with our phone. Once we reached our place, Nate and Nancy planned to stay as it was late night to back to their respective residents.

We prepared normal dinner and had it, while no one spoke to each other as Nate was still in call. Nancy is surfing something in mobile, and for me wondering what makes them stay hostile all the time. After dinner we kissed good night and went for bed.

I didn't feel sleepy, so I woke up and without making any noise I went out of my room to terrace, change my dress to workout fit.

It's my usual activity I do if I do not feel sleepy or want to relax my self. I statred to run from one building to other until I reached the last building and started to run back from the last building to my apartment. I reapeted it until I felt I'm out of my breath. I sat on the terrace and was looking at the stars.

Only moonlight was there and I saw the man shadow in front of me. Fine, here it goes, Nate came to look for me.

"You do this everyday?" Nate asked.

"Not so. But I want to make it a routine"

"planning to be stronger" Nate said.

"I can say so, but I want to be stronger and better to fight this world" I replied.

"I'm here for you, sister. You can depend on me."

"it's not the way you think. Even being dependent, being on their own strength, will help us to even tougher"

"Wait" Nate interrupted. "Are you planning to start some gang or something else. You speak so. It's hard for me to understand what you expect or what you want?"

I stayed silent for while, before I statred speaking.
