Epilogue
Las Vegas, three months later
“I’m going to the chapel, and I’m gonna get married,” Penny sings as she comes into the room.
“She’s been like this all morning,” Kelly says, following her.
Zeke straightens his tie, smiling. “You’ll be next,” Zeke says happily.
He goes in search of Brenton, who was having a last-minute pep talk with Jed.
Because Jed and Donnie are getting married. They’d decided a month ago, and together they’d decided to do it while on tour and in Vegas. They picked Vegas because it had bad memories they wanted to replace with good ones.
Zeke finds Brenton leaving Jed’s room and goes straight over to give Brenton a kiss. He doesn’t look around him first, even though they’re in a hotel hallway with other people around. Because Brenton’s been out for months
