(Flashback Continues - Inside Star's Office)
The heavy wooden doors of her private cabin opened slowly.
For the very first time, Star's eyes landed on his face.
Her breath hitched. She froze in her tracks, her mind instantly flooded with a wave of overwhelming thoughts.
Is he a celebrity too? Wow... He looks stunning.
He is incredibly sharp, handsome, and those eyes... He could literally be my perfect match.
She looked at him, her heart beating wildly as she remembered the Sketchbook.
How deep must his love be for me to spend years crafting every single page with such soul?
Savage walked into the quiet, luxurious room with steady, controlled steps.
He stopped right in front of her massive mahogany desk, standing calmly.
Star snapped out of her trance, quickly motioning toward the seating area.
"Please... sit down."
Savage didn't move. He looked at her with completely serene, unbothered eyes.
"It's okay," Savage replied smoothly.
"I'm just here for my book. If you give it back, I'll take my leave."
Star felt like she had just been hit by a wave of pure shock.
She stared at him, completely lost for words. None of the warmth, excitement, or unspoken romantic longing she had imagined in her head was visible on his face.
There was no fan-boy thrill, no blush, no nervous smile.
He was intensely calm, sharp, clean, and completely unreadable.
She couldn't process what was happening. What is this? How can someone who poured so much emotion into drawing me be this detached in person?
Refusing to let him just walk away like a ghost, Star composed herself and looked straight into his calm eyes.
"Please... I really want to talk to you for a bit," Star said softly, her voice holding a rare, gentle plea.
"If you are free... shall we talk?"
She kept her eyes locked on his face, quietly holding her breath, waiting for his answer.
