Episode 25: Don't Go Tonight

​They just grabbed whatever they liked and rushed to the table to dig in.

​ For the first time in perhaps many years, he picked up a snack and fed her with his own hands,

​Listening to him talk like that with so much affection, she took the next bite, her heart melting.

​After they finished eating dinner, he looked at her gently:

​"Alright Star, it's time for me to leave. See you when you're free again."

​ She couldn't bear the thought of him leaving her.

She slowly walked over to him, wrapped her arms tightly around his waist, and buried her face into his chest, her tears falling uncontrollably.

​ Overwhelmed with emotion at the thought of his departure.

she sobbed against him: ​"Please don't go... stay with me tonight.

Please. The whole day with you was so beautiful... I don't want to lose the night too.

I don't think I can sleep peacefully without you. Can you please stay for me?"

​ Her tears completely soaked the chest area of his shirt.

He pointed it out, smiling faintly:

​"You've literally drenched my shirt with your crying, sweetie.

But listen... you used to sleep just fine before I came along. What changed today?"

​"That was then, and this is now! Please... don't leave me!"

​He paused, then teased her: "Alright, condition number one. Do you have a teddy bear?"

​She looked up, confused: "No... why?"

​"Well, then I'm leaving."

​"Wait, what?! Why?!" she asked, completely shocked.

​He looked at her playfully: "Can you buy the biggest, maximum-sized teddy bear possible?"

​"Of course I can!"

​"Then get me one. Only then I will stay, otherwise I'm leaving."

​She giggled through her tears, realizing he was teasing her. 🤔🤔🤭🤭😇😇

​"Okay baby! I'll buy you the biggest teddy bear I can possibly find!

But I can't get it right now... Next time you come here, the bear will be waiting for you, okay? So please... don't go now!"

​ He smirked: "Alright, then starting next time, I'll stay.

But today, I'm going."

​ She refused to let go of him, clinging tighter: ​"Then take me with you!"

​He looked into her eyes seriously:

​"If you step outside with me, people will follow you.

Your phone will explode with calls again.

Are you really okay with that?"

​Unable to answer, she just locked her arms around his waist even tighter, refusing to let him move an inch.

​He let out a defeated sigh, wrapping his arms around her:

​"Alright... I'm not going. But this is the last time. Don't ever pull a stunt like this again."
