Episode 29: The Morning Crisis & Coffee

​ The moment her phone turns on, the screen completely freezes.

A relentless wave of blocked notifications and backlogged messages floods in at once.

​Because of the mass post she dropped last night, the entire internet is literally on fire!

​"Top Star attacks fans and media! Is she quitting the industry? Who provoked her?" - Left, right, and center, every channel is running non-stop live debates about her.

​The Management Panic: The texts from Priya Ma'am (Manager) and the producers show less fear and more of a massive headache:

​"Star, what happened to you?! If you drop such an egoistic post all of a sudden, what happens to your reputation?! Brands are threatening to cancel their contracts!"

​The last text from the Manager reads:

​"The entire media is waiting right outside your villa gate with their mics, waiting for your response!

Security told us you're inside. At 7:30 AM, I am coming inside with the spare key.

I'm going to make you delete this post and make you give a clarification in front of the press! Answer me!"

​She frantically tries to wake him up:

​"Baby... baby, we have an issue! Can you just help me solve this?"

​He says, still half-asleep:

​"What happened? Are your fans coming to see you?"

​ She says: ​"No, like you said, the post I made created a huge issue!"

​Mr. Savage, still sleep-talking:

​"What's there in that, sweetie (chellam) ? It was just a simple post.

Saying your freedom is yours... what's wrong with that?

Don't people here have any real work to do, that they're making a big deal out of this?

I wouldn't even bother looking at stuff like this-that's why I don't use any social media."

​She panics:

​"Baby, but in 15 minutes, my manager is coming inside!"

​Mr.Savage :

​"Oh... if she comes, ask her to drink coffee.

But tell her to clear the press at the gate and ask them to leave.

Instead of standing there senseless in the morning, tell them to go do some actual work.

If your manager sees me, tell her-'I've been seeing him for some time.'

But tell her to keep it a secret.

Even if you don't ask her, she'll keep it a secret anyway.

She knows what kind of chaos it will create better than you!

Alright, you relax. I'll get you some coffee."

​Finally, he gets up and stands. He looks at her and asks: ​"By the way, did you brush your teeth?"

​She shakes her head, saying no.

​"Go, go, run! Go brush your teeth!" he says, heading straight into the kitchen.
