I quickly shook my head, clearing those thoughts away. That's stupid! What am I thinking? Even if he wasn't a vampire, he's still my captor. Why would he lie to me? "Oh dear God..." I whispered under my breath. "Please help me..." When I woke up the next morning, I was greeted by the sight of a very large cage containing a grey wolf sitting at the bottom of a flight of stairs. A man sat cross legged nearby, talking quietly to the animal, stroking its fur occasionally. When I saw it, I froze in horror. My heart started beating wildly. I knew that it was dangerous to go near such creatures, but I also knew that they are much larger than the ones I saw when the woman came to rescue me before. Slowly and carefully, I inched my way over to the cage and peered through the bars of the window.
