"Great!" she exclaimed before giving me a bright smile as she motioned towards the side closest to the open doorway, indicating for me to come ahead. I complied silently as I walked over to the far side, climbing up onto the large rock beside her. As I sat down I reached out and pulled the blankets over my shoulder before curling in on myself, wrapping my arms tightly around myself, and closing my eyes. For a while I pretended to be asleep, not bothering to respond to whatever questions she was most likely itching to ask me; but after a few minutes of silence passed and I was positive that she was asleep, I decided it would be the best thing to leave her be so that she could rest properly and hopefully avoid any more uncomfortable conversation.
