I shook my head faintly, attempting to clear my thoughts before finally answering. "I saw someone," I finally managed to mutter, glancing back up at him. "Someone who looks like Mom, I mean." He frowned slightly, raising his eyebrow questioningly at me, and tilted his head sideways slightly. "What do you mean you saw someone similar?" he asked, confused. I pursed my lips, averting my eyes from him and lowering my head. "It seemed like she was trying to kill herself. Or maybe kidnap me. I don't know," I answered softly, avoiding eye contact with him.
