After spending two days hunting throughout the entire city, I managed to find my way back home safely. For the first time in seven years, the guards let me into my cell without hesitation. I felt as if I was in complete disbelief. Everything seemed surreal to me, especially as I looked around at the dirty walls covered with graffiti and the broken window. There was a thick layer of dust coating every object in the room, the air was stale, it stank, and the whole place had a very unpleasant atmosphere. The fact remained that I hadn't made it home by the end of the year.
