Rain thrummed hard against the hard metal of the car as Mr Elliot drove to the new home. Abigail stared absentmindedly at the window loving the little mist forming on the glass surface. The sounds of the rain beating hard on the car surfaces, soothed her troubling mind a bit as she was less worried about the prospect of not fitting in well in the new house. It was Mr Elliot's late wife's house, actually their house and it holds a lot of sentimental worth to him, considering the way their conversation turned sour on the airport's grounds after she asked him a sensitive question.
