"Audrey, please don't leave." Abigail paused in her steps, her heart thrumming loudly as those words escaped his lips. She was mostly scared at the prospect of him waking up and finding her in his room and his hold on her skin. It felt all wrong, she is not Audrey. She expected his hand to slip off her wrist but it wasn't happening. If she drags her hand away forcefully he would surely wake up and the thought of that had her mind whirling in anxiety.
