“It’s not the banishment, it’s the pursuit,” Thor answers. “Some feel if you were pushed from the confines of Odin’s judgment, you might regain your powers and become uncontrollable. Others hope that if you got sent back to Jotunheim and if Odin’s restraining enchantments held, you’d be destroyed by the hatred of your own kin.”
