The next morning, Kenny woke up early. Sleeping in the rocky pit was uncomfortable, it was too rough. When he opened his eyes, Oliver was gone. But Lily was still sleeping in his arms. Where did Oliver go? Kenny sat up all of a sudden, afraid that Oliver had left without a word. He felt a sense of loss. It would have been nice to have a like-minded girlfriend, but it turned out they split after only one night together. "Kenny, you're awake?" Just as Kenny was feeling melancholy, he heard Oliver's voice coming from the beach. "I thought you had left." Seeing Oliver holding dried grass and leaves in her hands, Kenny grinned. "How could I leave you! Not in this lifetime." Oliver walked over, hugged Kenny, and looked at him like a loving wife and mother, with all her eyes on him.
