The others are waiting for us when we return to the Boom-boom room.
“Did you get Hades out?” I ask. Even though Shauna and Tina were tasked with getting him across the river, it’s Griff I focus on.
He grunts in the affirmative. Funny how I’ve gotten to the point where I can easily interpret what each one means.
Tina’s fingers snap in front of my face and I realize that I was staring at Griff with a goofy smile on my face.
“Yeah, we got Hades out,” Tina confirms. “And where the hell were you?”
“Breaking the timeline!” Mac wails.
I glare at him. “What part of don’t tell the others about this, did you not understand?” I had been very insistent.
“They’ll find out when the world we left no longer exists!” He turns to the others. “She saw her sister. She spoke to her! She hugged her.”
