Six months later.
“Three, two, one! Congratulations.” We cut the ribbon together at the joint lab A&B Biochemistry facility.
“Blaze, smile into the camera.” Melody held her camera up in front of the two of us, and Ava held her badge in her hand with our company name.
“How many more are you going to take?” Ava investigated, dropping her smile.
“That was the last one,” Melody lied and snapped another one as I dropped my arm from around Ava.
