“Audience, give it up for the final contestants!” Teddi screamed.
“Yay!!!”
“We have Ava playing for CrimsonBio, Blaze for Newton Industries, Joel with Ankerson Labs, and finally Asher for BioChrome labs.”
Screams and cheers erupted in the audience.
“Our judges are here and ready to crown the winner.”
Danny and Carl waved to the crowd, and Sharon stood up and picked up the microphone.
“For my background, this show has done wonders for supporting women scientists. Even Ava getting this far is exciting.” Sharon put the mic down, waved, and sat down in her chair, narrowing her eyes at me.
“For this final competition, you're doing an experiment you’ve chosen, but we have a surprise.”
