Encounter

Apollo POV

"They are starving and need our help. They are merely 30 minutes away from here an we can drop the food at the border and not even cross into the pack lands." I felt like I was pleading with Alpha Andrei for my own right to enter my pack lands and I knew the reason he was hesitant to let me go. I remember that night well.

"What do you know of my sister?" My wolf was in the forefront. He had complete control now and I sat back and watched this wolf cower before me. I can smell his fear, but I can also smell my sister, my twin.

"Luna Artemis is alive and well. She is now mated to Alpha Drex and ruling along side him. She is the one who sent me to find you and to let you know that you do not need to come look for her."

His smile as he said it was what cost him his life. There is no way my sister would willingly be mated to the psycho that murdered our family and our pack.

"Well there goes the integration. You should have at least waited to see if he was telling you the truth." Beta Thomas stated

"He was lying, my friend." Alpha Andrei was calm and spoke lovely, but there was something in his eyes I don't believe I have seen before from him. He gripped his desk till knuckles are pure white and you could hear the wood breaking.

"How did you know? I mean I knew because my sister would never submit willingly to a crazed wolf like that. He must have threatened Margo's life. That would be the only way for her to do so, but how do you know that he wasn't speaking honestly?"

"Whomever's sent lingers on him is my Mate." Alpha Andrei walked quickly over to his wet bar and poured himself a glass of whiskey and downed it in one swallow "warm vanilla with a hint of maple" he chuckled.

"Andrei,you know what this means then don't you? It means we need to find her and you will both become King and Queen as your grandmother foresaw. The lands will have a King and Queen again and all packs will become one." Beta Thomas declared this and you could hear the excitement in his voice.

coming back to the present I couldn't help the next words that came out of mouth. "She is your mate and you are refusing to go any where near the pack lands to claim her and bring her to us!"

"I need to be strategic and allow for the right moment. Plus I have been hearing rumors of The Luptator being sited again. Most likely if we are hearing about this small pack then they have as well and I do not wish to cross paths with The Luptator." Alpha Andrei stated and expected me to back down.

"Those are my pack members and with your support or not I will be going to help them. Out of respect I have done my duty and informed you of my plan and I will be leaving in one hour. If you choose to follow and show me your support then I will show my support to you and honor any alliance with or with out my sister being your mate or future Queen, your highness." I turned and walked out of the room towards the stock room. My Beta Axel was already there with some Omegas preparing boxes of dried foods and some fresh fruits and vegetables. I nodded my head towards him when he looked in my direction, "We leave in one hour have the pack ready." I turned to go to my room hoping that this next part of my plan would actually reach my sister.

An hour later we were in the jeeps and I couldn't help the smile that I had plastered to my face. "What no longer scared of The Luptator?" I couldn't help but taunt my new friend

"You'd be wise to be afraid as well. The Luptator is said to be the strongest and fiercest wolf to walk among our kind. He is the most sacred of wolves and should be feared and worshiped all in one. The legend my grandmother told me was that The Luptator comes around only when the packs are in need of him. The are the most ruthless and protective wolf you will ever come across. She once told me a story from when she met the last Luptator. She said it was like being in the presence of the God and Goddess themselves. He never traveled without his mate for he was the only one that could properly protect her and that was what ended his life. While he was in the middle of a battle a jealous she wolf crept up behind his mate and slit her throat causing The Luptator to go mad with rage and killing everyone around him including himself." Alpha Andrei was telling us this on our way to the border. As we arrived I looked behind him and only said one thing before I opened my door.

"I pray to the Goddess and God that I meet this Luptator and thank them for aiding my pack and becoming the legend." I walked to the border where just on the other side I could hear a battle being raged and screams coming from the small packs village. Without thinking I shifted and ran towards the battle, but as I approached my wolf screamed at me "MATE IS HERE!"

I skidded to a halt in front of two black-clad assassins and pack members who immediately dropped to one knee in submission, baring their necks towards me. "Alpha Apollo our lives are yours." They all spoke in unison

"Apollo?" Her voice I couldn't believe it

"Artmeis? Margo?" I gasped and my fellow wolves joined us.

"MARGO!" Axel lunged at her and engulfed his sister in and I couldn't help the growl that escaped me

"MATE!" I was staring at Margo who's eyes were wide and full of love and wonder

"Mate" She whispered and ran to my arms and kissed me with everything she had and I kissed her back only breaking the kiss to grab my sister who had approached on my right.

"Well then, I guess I have to share my bestfriend now." She pouted a little and I couldnt' help the laugh that escaped. She suddenly went still and then bolted over me in one pounce just as a large white and black wolf approached from my left. Though as she landed on its spine another wolf grabbed it by its throat and snapped it.

"Thank you Alpha Andrei, this is my sister and apparently The Luptator you have been fearing this entire time." I snuggled my nose into Margo's neck as I spoke.

Shifting he looked at my sister and they both spoke at the same time

"Mate!" Then Artemis screamed a blood curdling scream and dropped to the ground, but before she could hit the dirt Andrei had her in his arms and yanking off her hood and top.
