LANDON
I hugged Daisy so hard, not wishing to let her go even for a minute. She meant a lot to me, more than I could put into words. How could someone so pure go through so much pain?
"Landon, I can’t breathe," she whined.
A smile touched my lips as I slowly released her. "I thought I lost you.”
I let my fingers slowly run through her hair. She was the most amazing, and the sweetest soul ever. Nothing could go wrong with her. Her eyes were dim, and I could tell that she was struggling to get herself and that broke me.
"Come closer," she said softly.
I leaned closer to her and felt her hands weakly hold me tight. It felt so good to be able to have such a hold on me, and I just wanted to be with her even more than I ever had in my whole lifetime.
