Chapter XVII

JENNIE'S POV

I saw Lisa in her sleeping clothes. She looks so cute.

"We are finally complete. Go change now in your sleeping clothes." Rosé said while Lisa is busy preparing the snacks.

"Where's my chicken Chae?" Jisoo asked Chaeyoung like a child looking for her candy.

"It's here!" Chaeng showed her the boxes of chicken.

"Woaw" Jisoo's mouth became watery. This girl is soon to have feathers I swear to her chicken.

"What do you guys want to watch?" Lisa asked us as she approached.

"I don't like horror movies." Rosé answered immediately winking at me.

"I don't like to pee on your couch too," I said and then we all laugh.

"Alright let's just watch Midnight Sun," Lisa suggested. "I heard it's a good movie!" Rosé said out of excitement.

I haven't seen that movie so I don't have any idea.

"Bella Thorne is a bisexual in real life." I heard Lisa said. "Yeah, that's why you keep on thinking naughty things about her." Rosé murmured. Lisa was embarrassed but I found it cute.

"Yah! I was not thinking about anything like that unnie." She defended herself.

"Shhh. Are we going to watch it or both of you going to fight?" Jisoo said while attentively watching. I just laugh at them.

"Jen, scoot over," Lisa said while her left hand is gesturing me to scoot over but she's looking at the TV.

Lisa wants me to sit closer to her. But before I did she pulled me closer. "I said scoot over." She then whispered. It caught me off guard.

Her left hand is hugging me right now. Thank God the lights are off because for sure I am blushing.

We are now almost at the end of the movie where Katie and Charlie are on the yacht.

"At least, until to her last breath, she's with someone she loves." I heard Jisoo. Rosé hugged her tightly. They are on the other couch while Lisa and I are on the other. The two are now cuddling. I smiled seeing my best friend that happy.

I look to my side to see Lisa but to my surprise, she's already looking at me like she's thinking about something deep. What is inside your mind, Lisa?

She then looks back to the TV. The movie already ended.

"Let's watch a walk to remember. I've watched that for a hundred times but the feels don't change." She said. Lisa stands up "I'll just refill the drinks and our snacks." She said while carrying the pitcher and the bowl of snacks.

Jisoo mouthed to me. Follow her and she looks at me like what, move now.

"I'll help you," I said and Lisa said. "Oh thank you but I can do it," Lisa said not wanting my help. "I insist," I said as she sighs in defeat. 

We are both in the kitchen now while Rosé and Jisoo left there watching.

"Jennie." I heard Lisa called me.

I hummed in response. "Do you remember what I have told you about my ex? It was Nayeon." It was at this time that I fell silent. I can feel that my heart is racing this time. Don't tell me that you still want her once again. Lisa, please.

"We kissed." She said briefly. I was not shocked by her revelation because she already told that to me and I was so unlucky to watch the second time around. "And?" I answered shortly.

"I am sure that I still want her." Okay, that's it, Lisa. Why do you need to tell me this? Are you being oblivious? I can't break down here.

I breathe deeply. Preventing my eyes from crying, telling myself that everything is okay. That I don't need to cry again.

"But Jennie." She continued, "Our kiss was different from ours." I don't know what to feel this time. But my tears fell. I can't hold on to it for long.

I feel her hands embrace me from behind. She then whispers to my ear. "I don't know what I feel about you but you feel like .... You feel like home, Jennie. I want to be close to you like this."

With that sentence, I faced her and pulled her for a kiss. Jisoo said I should fight for what I want and this is enough reason to fight. Lisa is giving me enough reason.

I know Lisa feels the same as I feel for her. Just like her, I don't really know what it is exactly. But I love the feeling of being with her. Having her in my arms. Kissing her lips. Having this kind of moment with her. Even seeing her smile makes my day complete.

I love having Lisa around; she completes me just by being here beside me.

Lisa was being gentle, she kissed me softly. My tears were streaming down my face because of happiness. What I heard and what I feel tonight with Lisa is enough reason for me to fight for her. I'll do everything to win her over that girl.

Lisa pulls back "Why are you crying..." she asked as she wiped tears using her hands. "Shhh.. Don't cry. I don't want to see you crying." She then added. Her care for me, the little things she does make me fall for her deeper.

She then kisses my forehead and hugs me. I could hear Lisa's heart. It was beating so fast, the same way my heart is.

"Lisa," I said while listening to her heart.

"Hmm," she said.

"Promise me you won't hate me whatever you find out," I said.

Lisa did not answer right away. When I about pulled out from our hug but she prevented me and hug me again.

"As long as you are being real to me now, I will accept whatever your past was." Her words made me want to cry out loud. This time I want to tell her everything. I want her to know.

I don't want to keep anything to her; I want her to know as soon as possible. But what if she became mad? But if not now, when?

"Lisa, I have to tell you something," I said as I pulled out from our hug.

She looks at me and smiles. "What it is?" she asked.

"I-I .." I was cut off by the phone that is ringing. It was Lisa's phone.

"Let's just ignore that. What are you going to tell me?" she asked as she put her phone down holding both of my hands.

Her phone rings again. "Okay I'll just take it, it might be something important." She said.

"Who's this?" she asked.

"What happened to her???" I heard Lisa asking worriedly.

"What hospital?" she asked again. Who's in the hospital?

"Okay, I'll be there in 10 minutes." She said and she hung the phone.

"Who's that Lisa?" I asked Lisa who looks so nervous.

"Nayeon was driving drunk. Her car crashed. I need to go to the hospital." Lisa said. I don't know what to do now. I want to stop her but I don't want to be selfish. Nayeon might need her since she's the one in the emergency call.

Lisa rushed to change her clothes. As soon as she changed her clothes she went down and look for her keys.

"Rosé, I'll leave now. Nayeon is in the hospital she's unconscious." Lisa said worriedly as she called Rosé

Rosé's face can tell that she's not into this idea. "And why are going there? Are you her mother Lisa?" I wasn't surprised how Rosé reacted. "Chae, she's still a friend of mine and if you don't want to be her friend it is fine but she needs my help," Lisa said to Rosé

"Fool yourself again, Lis." Rosé hissed at her but Lisa did not bother to argue with her. She then leaves her mansion and she walked away from us leaving us three unresponsive to her decision.

"I hope that Nayeon to death!" Rosé exclaimed. She's really mad at Nayeon to curse her to death. Jisoo calms her. A few minutes after she is now calm but still not having a good mood.

"Are you okay?" I heard Jisoo.

"I-I'm fine." I said not sure

I was going to tell her. I was close to telling her everything why does this need to happen now?

LISA'S POV

I was driving to the hospital speeding up my car. I wasn't thinking right this time. Rosé and I fight but I don't want that to happen. It's just, I need to see Nayeon. She played me but I still care for her. I don't know the real reason behind what she did. But she was my first love. She showed me everything. I know that I still want her that she still has a room in my heart but Jennie...

I don't really know what I feel for Jennie right now. She makes me so happy. What happened earlier was so sincere. She was about to tell me something but it was not my priority right now since Nayeon is in the hospital. Why is she driving drunk? Aish.

"Where's Im Nayeon's room?" I asked the nurse in the nurse's office.

"She's currently inside the ER ma'am."

I went to the ER only to find out that her head was being clean because she got bruises and her face has a little scratch.

"What did you do Nayeon." I said to myself.

As soon as I saw the doctor came out from the room "Doc, how's Nayeon?" I asked him immediately.

"Her bruises weren't that serious she just needs to rest. Are you Lisa?" he asked me and I just nod at him.

"Are you a family?" he asked again.

"No, doc I'm her friend," I said.

"Oh, I see. You must be important to be listed on her emergency list. You can go inside now but don't stress her." He said and he leaves.

"Nayeon." I said as I brushed her hair with my hand.

She then opens her eyes.

"Lisa.." she said with a cracky voice.

"It's okay. I am here now. The doctor said you should rest" I comforted her.

"Stay here please." She said.

"Don't leave Lisa. I want to see you when I wake up." She pleaded.

How can I say no to her in that state?

JENNIE'S POV

"Lisa still loves Nayeon." I blurted out while the three of us were inside the room. Jisoo and Rosé are on the same bed while I have the bed alone.

"Unnie" I heard Rosé

"You like Lisa right?" Rosé added.

I did not respond to her. "I know you do and I like you for her. But Lisa is being oblivious. I know Lisa likes you too, unnie. It is just .."

"It's just Nayeon came back." I finished her sentence and look down.

"Why Lisa still want her? Imagine all she did to her and still wanting someone who gave her pain. Is she out of her mind?" It was Jisoo's time to speak.

"Actually, Nayeon wasn't really that bad." Rosé blurted out and we look at her in unison with our brows furrowed.

"She's just a crazy brat but she treated Lisa very well. That's why Lisa is still concerned about her. Nayeon became her black night in their grade school. We did not go to the same school in our grade schools. Lisa was being attacked by her classmates because she's not Korean. But Nayeon was different. She's always there for Lisa. Students from her school stop picking at Lisa since then." Rosé said

"But why did she cheated on Lisa?" Jisoo asked.

"I really don't know the real reason, Lisa and I caught her sleeping with the unknown guy. They are both naked" Jisoo and I are attentively listening to Chaeng.

"Lisa was really hurt but she doesn't have the guts to confront Nayeon that's why I did." She said "But Lisa still begs for Nayeon to come back. I was so mad at Lisa but I can't stand to see her like that. Until one day, Nayeon was gone. No one knows where she went but I am thankful because it will help Lisa to move on."

"Until Lisa gain her self-confidence again. I started seeing her smile again. Up until before Nayeon come back." She then hissed.

"Jennie, I know Lisa likes you. When we talk about that morning before the interaction with Nayeon, she was so happy. She even told me that something great happened to her. She likes you, unnie." Rosé said. I don't know how to respond to her at all.

I woke up early, Jisoo and Rosé are still sleeping.

I heard someone in the kitchen. "Lisa" I saw Lisa drinking her wine in this early? She's still wearing the same clothes last night.

"Are you okay?" I said as I walk closer to her.

"Jennie... You look good with your morning face even your hair looks like a nest again. How can you do that?" She said fixing my hair. Is she already drunk?

"It is too early to drink in this hour, Manoban," I said as I snatched the glass in her hand.

I put the glass away from her. And put the bottle of wine to the other side. It was almost empty.

As I was doing it Lisa hugs me. I can feel her breath on my neck as she hugs me and crawls into my neck. "You smell good, Jen." She said as she sniffed my neck. Her breath was touching my neck. It gave me goosebumps. But I love the feeling. Her hands are on my waist.

"Lisa you are drunk," I said trying to pull out from her but she pushed me to the corner. "Sorry for leaving last night." She made me face her.

She's looking into my eyes. Lisa brushed my hair to my ear "Can I kiss you?" she asked for permission I just nod at her as a response. I don't know why is she acting like this but having her now is all that I need.

We are now kissing. Her hands went into my blouse unbuttoning it gently.

She was done unbuttoning my blouse I did not even protest at all she then whispers to my ear. "Just stop me whenever you want." She said, but how can I stop her when I am longing for this to happen? Damn Lisa...

Lisa threw my blouse to the floor and look at my body. "You are really beautiful, Jennie." I blushed at her compliment. But I am kind of shy for her to see me like this. Lisa kissed me again now with aggressiveness. Her tongue is asking for an entrance and I let her in. Now our tongues are fighting like swords. Lisa snakes her hands to unclasp my bra and she lifted her own shirt. Lisa lowered her kiss to my neck.
