“Good morning Mr Anderson may we have a word” Mr Anderson “of course have a seat” Mr Evans took a seat in front of the old wooden desk with a sadden look Mr Anderson “well” the lady look at the man sat next her Mr Evans “now we don’t know what happened but her family has been killed, nothing was stolen nothing was broken but they were killed a horrific death leaving her alive”.
Utter shock was the reason the room was so tense Mr Anderson “has the killer been found” letting out a heavy sigh Mr Evans debated with himself if he should tell them or not well no point in hiding it Mr Evans “well no, .. you see she says that it was her” the lady gasped “Noo the little thing she’s only 5..this can’t be” she looked at Mr Anderson. Mr Anderson spoke with disbelief “I don’t think she knew what she was saying but if it’s true then she shouldn’t be near the other children”.
Mr Anderson “Mrs Jones what do make of this” Mrs Jones “that maybe best but what if she didn’t she’ll need to be around other children to learn how to socialise and how to function with others” Mr Anderson “ I agree with Mrs Jones” Mr Anderson “where is she” Mr Evans “I’ve left her in the car she was sleep I didn’t want to wake her up”.
Mr Anderson “can you please bring her here” Mr Evans stood from his chair going to the door before leaving the room he turned “please take care of her I have a feeling she’s been though a lot” he left the room going out the building towards the car opening it he gently lifted the little girl up from the backseat closing the door with his hip before walking back to the office.
Using one hand to knock on the door it flew open Mrs Jones “aww how sweet are you sure she meant what she said” Mrs Jones took the little girl out of Mr Evans arms and placed her on the soft sofa while they spoke some more.
While Mr Evans was reading the paperwork the little girl woke up not making a sound looking around she saw that the door was open ever so slightly sneaking out the room into the hallway “serpensortia” a green snake appeared in the middle of the hall * speaks in parseltounge, ~ “find away out” the snake “yesss” the snake went to find an exit when other children screamed the snake came back it slivered up the little girls arm resting on her shoulder “thisss way” the little girl let the snake tell her the way out as she ran past the other children who screamed when they saw the snake.*
In the office,
Mr Anderson “what’s with all the screaming” Mr Evans turned to the sofa “she’s gone” they all stood up leaving the office quickly Mrs Jones “what’s with all the screaming” she asked one of the children that was hiding in a corner, the little boy “a..a” Mrs Jones “yes” the little boy “a snake”.
Mr Evans “a snake you have snakes here” Mr Anderson “no we don’t which way did it go” he kneeled down in front of the little boy trying to calm him down, the little boy raised his shaking hand pointing down the hallway “it went that way”.
Mr Anderson “Mrs Jones could you help this little boy back to his room and set up a room for our new arrival” Mrs Jones “of course” she went in the other direction with the little boy while Mr Evans and Mr Anderson went the other way turning the corner to see the door now open walking outside there was a group of children standing around the large willow tree next to a small pond. Clearing his throat Mr Anderson “everyone inside” the children ran inside but some peered thought the windows looking at the old man talking to a tree.
Mr Anderson “thank you Mr Evans for bringing her to us will take good care of her” he smiled at the man standing next to him, Mr Evans “thank you for finding a room for her I’ll be leaving now” Mr Evans turned on his heel walking back to his car Mr Anderson waited for him to leave before turning to the tree.
Mr Anderson “can you come down” the little girl “no” Mr Anderson “if you come down we’ll go get something to eat, I bet your hungry” he kept calm knowing it’s been a rough day the little girl “I’m not” when her tummy grumbled “shhh” she said looking at her tummy Mr Anderson let out a chuckle “come down when your ready” he turned to walk away when he heard movement.
Turning his head he saw the little girl with a medium sized snake Mr Anderson “let’s get you something to eat”.
The little girl walked behind the tall man walking into the building Mr Anderson “have a seat I’ll come and get you after dinner” Mr Anderson opened the door letting the little girl walk inside but she didn’t “it’s ok” he reassured her taking a step inside all the other children looked at her.
Walking to the empty stop at the far end of the room climbing onto the chair looking at the food glancing at the others picking up the folk digging into the food having a bite “ew” the little girl pulled a face of disgust but as she didn’t eat in a few hours she carried in eating a few seats down sat a boy who found it comical even though he had no friends her reaction to the food made him chuckle a little.
