Chapter 5

1531 Words
5 years ago In the supernatural realm, many aspects of human life had been transported or replicated through the use of magic. Some rumors even suggested that supernaturals who visited the human realm had influenced its development, shaping human advancements. For instance, the vehicles now transporting Ember’s belongings to the inner kingdom bore a striking resemblance to human technology. A sleek limo idled nearby, waiting to whisk her away to her new life. “Do things always move this fast?” Ember turned to look at her older sister, Raven. She remembered Raven had a week to pack her belongings before leaving to live with her mate. “Your mate is the crown prince. For security reasons, things are moving faster for you,” Slate, their brother, joined them in front of the pack house. He watched as royal pack members packed and loaded his youngest sister’s belongings into a moving van. “You have too many human books,” Slate shook his head, knowing the majority of the boxes in the van were filled with nothing but her books. “He just adores you and can’t be away from you,” Raven responded to the earlier conversation, ignoring their brother’s comment. She elbowed Slate in the stomach playfully, loving that their little sister was so obsessed with the human realm and its ways. “Thanks, I think?” Ember responded, glancing at Julian who was busy ordering pack members around in the driveway of the pack house. It seemed that his pack members weren’t moving fast enough for his liking. They’d been packing and loading for over an hour. Julian smirked when he noticed his mate watching him work. He turned and waved at her, enjoying the sight of her blushing and her sister fawning over them. “He’s so perfect for you,” Raven gushed, her eyes twinkling. “That man is smitten with you. But I was the same when I found Ella,” Slate said, almost dreamily. “Do you think the bond makes you weak?” Ember asked seriously. She felt the effects of the mate bond and was infatuated with Julian, but she barely knew him. What she did know was that he seemed perfect. Julian finished directing the pack members and walked over to Ember, Slate, and Raven. He placed a gentle hand on Ember’s back, his presence a comforting weight. “The bond doesn’t make you weak, Ember. It makes you stronger. Together, we are more than we are apart.” Ember looked up at him, her heart pounding. “I just... I don’t want to lose myself.” Julian smiled reassuringly, his gray eyes softening. “You won’t. I promise to help you find yourself even more. We’ll grow together.” Ember nodded, feeling a sense of reassurance wash over her. “Okay. I trust you.” Julian leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Ember's forehead. “Good. Now, let’s get you to your new home.” As they made their way to the limo, Ember felt a mixture of excitement and nerves. The air was crisp with the scent of pine and earth, a reminder of the pack lands she was leaving behind. Birds chirped in the distance, and the sun cast a warm, golden glow over everything. She glanced back at her siblings, who waved encouragingly, their smiles bittersweet. She took a deep breath, then took Julian’s hand, letting him lead her into the limo. The limo was sleek and luxurious, its leather seats soft and inviting. Julian had arranged for two drivers so they could take turns, ensuring they wouldn't need to make too many stops. The interior was spacious, with tinted windows offering privacy and a minibar stocked with refreshments. Julian stepped into the plush limo after his mate, silently watching her. She wore a beautiful sundress today, and he couldn’t be more thankful for the easy access it provided. The thought of their long ride back to the inner kingdom made him smirk. Once they arrived, he wouldn't have much time to spend with her, as he would be acting Werewolf King until his parents returned from the human realm. They were seeking new technology to bring into the supernatural realm or new ideas they could create using the magic of the witches. As the limo began to move, Ember looked out the window, watching the familiar landscape slowly fade into the distance. Julian settled beside her, his arm draped casually over her shoulders, pulling her close. The scent of leather mixed with Julian’s own aroma, making her feel safe and protected. Julian’s eyes roved over her, taking in every detail. The way her hair cascaded over her shoulders, the curve of her neck, and the slight nervousness in her eyes. He leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear. “Are you comfortable, little wolf?” Ember nodded, her heart racing. “Yes, I am. Just... a bit overwhelmed.” Julian's hand gently rubbed her arm, soothing her. “I understand. Everything is happening so fast,” She turned to face him, her eyes meeting his. “It’s just a lot to take in.” He smiled, his eyes warm. “We’ll take it one step at a time. You’re not alone in this.” Julian's hand wandered, tracing the curve of her thigh through the soft fabric of her dress. Ember's breath hitched slightly, a shiver of anticipation running through her. He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her neck, his voice a low whisper. “We have plenty of time, little wolf. Let's make the most of it.” Ember felt her cheeks flush, a mix of desire and curiosity bubbling within her. She bit her lip, looking up at him. “I’d like that.” Julian's eyes darkened with intent as he leaned in to kiss her deeply, their surroundings fading away as they lost themselves in each other. “Insatiable, aren’t you, little wolf?” Julian's voice was low, filled with a possessive growl. “For you, yes.” Ember bit her lip, her eyes locked on his, anticipation making her pulse race. “How bad do you want me?” Julian pulled back slightly, whispering against her lips, his breath hot and tantalizing. “…bad,” Ember groaned, her body aching with need, desperate for his touch. With a mischievous smile, Julian shifted her position, guiding her to bend over the limo seat, her knees on the plush carpet. The cool leather pressed against her skin, a stark contrast to the heat pooling between her legs. Julian positioned himself behind her, his hands gripping her hips firmly. He lifted her dress, revealing her cotton thong, which he dragged slowly down her legs, admiring the view. This position ensured he wouldn't be tempted to mark her, respecting her wishes for now. “Are you ready for me, little wolf?” Julian's voice was a husky whisper as he passed his finger through her slick folds. “Yes,” Ember hissed in response, her voice trembling with anticipation and desire. “You’re very ready for me,” Julian growled, feeling her wetness drench his fingers. She was so responsive, so eager. Ember felt the tip of his c**k teasing her entrance, and she braced herself, a mixture of excitement and nervousness coursing through her. With a slow, deliberate thrust, Julian entered her, a deep groan escaping his lips as he felt her tightness envelop him. Ember gasped, the sensation of being filled completely overwhelming her. He moved with a steady rhythm, each thrust deep and purposeful, sending waves of pleasure through her body. Their movements synchronized, the sound of their breathing creating a symphony of passion. Ember's fingers dug into the leather seats, her body responding instinctively to Julian's every move. He leaned over her, his chest pressing against her back, his lips finding her ear once more. "You're mine, Ember," he whispered, his voice a possessive growl that sent shivers down her spine. With those words, he drove into her with renewed intensity. Ember covered her mouth, trying to contain her moans, knowing the drivers could probably hear her. Her mind and body got lost in the ecstasy of their connection, the primal bond they shared as mates. Julian's pace quickened, his thrusts becoming more urgent as they both neared their peak. Ember's walls tightened around him, her legs trembling with the force of her impending climax. She cried out, unable to hold back any longer, the pleasure washing over her in powerful waves. As they reached the peak together, the world seemed to dissolve, leaving only the two of them in their shared moment of bliss. Julian's grip on her hips tightened, his final thrusts deep and possessive, claiming her in every way but the mark. Collapsing against each other, their breathing ragged, they remained entwined, the limo's gentle hum a background to their sated silence. Julian kissed her shoulder tenderly, whispering, “You’re incredible, little wolf.” Ember smiled, her body still tingling from their passionate encounter. “And you’re everything I didn’t know I needed,” she whispered back, feeling a deep contentment settle over her.
