AVA “You should slow down,” Cindy said. “You’re going to give yourself alcohol poisoning. Trust me, I’m a nurse.” “Waitress, my darling,” I called animatedly, “please bring me four shots of tequila.” Cindy stared at me. “You have to be at school teaching a bunch of teens tomorrow, you know.” “Fine.
