Chapter Fourteen Suddenly Gustav heard a commotion coming from the great hall of the castle. Quickly throwing on a robe, he hurried down the stairs, Gwendolen running after him. He remembered that most of his bodyguard had gone hunting that morning. When he entered the hall he saw that the few remaining had been made prisoner. “What is the meaning of this?” Gustav demanded, looking around for who was responsible.
