Over the next few hours, a small army of people Max didn’t know arrived at The Ruby Room to help. Miro found someone to take over at the café; Orlando, Sophie, and Agathe also came by. Luke still had to work at Tiluma but would swing past at the end of the day.
At least Max had some familiar people here, even if he hadn’t found the courage to tell anyone about his run-in with Freya that morning.
