Waking up this morning, I was pleasantly surprised by Aiden's text. I replied to his text immediately. After last night's confession, I didn't think that Aiden would stick around.
It made me wondered, what if he was different. What if he would stay and kept listening to my stories. My baggage had definitely scared away my previous boyfriends. I didn't even have a best friend. I was afraid that I would hurt them. Deep down I was also afraid, that I would hurt Aiden in the future, if he became too close.
It happened when I was younger. I had Michele growing up with, she was my best friend from elementary. She was also my neighbour. She knew about my ability to see the dead. She would comforted me sometimes, and accompanied me whenever my parents were home late.
