It took me quite a while to read that story, and when I finished, I knew I had to find the village of which my distant ancestor spoke. When I finished, I felt proud that I had an ancestor who had struggled against such adversary. I thought that others should also read how a man could travel from s*****y in the Deep South of the United States to Africa, reversing the journey that his ancestors had made.
