From the balcony porch outside of her assigned bedchamber, Jenaveve watched the dusky sky’s brilliant colors fade into a blackening blue as night approached. She had been out on the porch a while, looking out over the vast, rich yards of the palace below her window, because after an hour of sitting inside the room, it just got… too quiet. Staring at the chamber door waiting for a certain Lycan prince to enter just got… too long.
