Callie was momentarily unsure whether she should ask him about not caring about herself, or be relieved that he didn't ask further.
Standing there dazed, she didn't know how to react.
Realizing his reaction was too intense, Haris hurriedly coughed awkwardly.
Then he put on a gentle expression. "It's okay, we still have savings, we can look for work slowly."
Finally hearing a comforting word, Callie nodded.
Seeing her mood better, Haris immediately couldn't wait to embrace her. "Next time, you can't do this again! You didn't answer the phone or reply to messages. I thought you didn't want me anymore... I was so scared, you must not leave me for the second time... No matter what I do wrong, I can change it!"
