Her eyes widened with fear and she stayed there, frozen as the green light came on with Suzy laughing and driving away.
It was the blaring horns from vehicles behind her that got her kicking her bike forward and speeding home, only pausing at the gate to be allowed entry into the estate by the security. Then she drove into the parking lot and parked her bike.
Inara hurried off the parking lot and headed towards the house. Inside, she raced upstairs to safety of the bedroom. The model could kill her. She knew it was serious now.
Inara looked at the time and saw that it was about 4:30 pm. She quickly took a shower and changed into a house wear so it wouldn't look like she went out. Then she walked down to the library to read a book.
