Alex maintained silence as he worked, but then he thought of something.
“If he can turn you into an infected, that would mean he might still be there. Turning others along,” he said to his friend.
Trent grimaced, “That’d be cruel.”
Alex nodded in affirmation.
Turning your fellow humans into murder tools would be nothing short of demonic. He had a feeling that this same person had a system just like his.
“I’m done,” Alex said, straightening his back. “You only need to rest for a while.”
