Monica POV
We all stop and stare at the woman that just glided out of the woods like she wasn't even walking. Everyone is frozen as we watch her draw closer. She looks almost ethereal, like there's a light coming from her. And I feel Lexi stirring inside of me, she feels on edge but not in a bad way, more like an excited anticipation. The woman walks straight towards me and for some reason the Alpha lets me go and shoves me forward. I walk towards her, I can't help it something draws me to her.
"Sister," she says in a soft voice while embracing me in a tight hug. I look over at my parents shocked and the look on their faces might be comical if we weren't in the middle of a battle. "Or perhaps," she says pulling back to look at me, "you're more like a niece, a very great niece I suppose
