On Monday I was still basking in the glow of a wonderful weekend, Tuesday was alright too, but by Wednesday I was missing him fiercely, and by the time Lish and I finished work on Friday, I wasn’t sure how I would make it another week. There was plenty to keep me busy most days with the business, and nights weren’t so bad since we had things to do often enough, but when I crawled into my bed I missed having him there beside me. We talked on the phone every day and had video calls at least twice a week, but it wasn’t the same as having him here.
