Chapter 21
I told her everything. Again. I just couldn’t hide from her no matter how hard I tried. She was the only one I could talk to, to relieve myself from this stress. We spoke on the phone next morning before she came over to my house and sneaked into my bedroom.
My Mom wasn’t a great fan of her but I begged her to let her study with me since we both had tests by the end of the next week. With a sigh, she agreed and let Josie come over the next day.
She locked the door from the inside and we spoke quietly with each other on the corner of the bedroom. Walls had ears as well. I couldn’t risk my Mom knowing any of this, even a little bit.
