Chapter 25 A loud bell rang across the hallway and students began walking out of classes and disappearing into other rooms. There were still a couple of hours left before school was going to be over and I was already exhausted. I wanted to go back home, wait for the night to fall and pray that stranger would return through my windows and spread my legs wide open for himself to devour me. “What’s up?” Josie appeared behind me, striking my head with a pen and snapping me out of my thoughts. I had told her earlier about Dad leaving for work again. “Still sad?” “No,” I shook my head. It was no longer about Dad but instead of some other man that I began to think hardly about. There wasn’t a moment where I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I could smell him everywhere, hear him everywhere
