CHAPTER 51
Maddox grinned as he showered me with warm water. We spent a few minutes with each other before I stepped out of the cold shower and wrapped a towel around myself. Another minute and I would begin sneezing.
A knock landed on the door just as I stepped out and I unlocked it while glancing over my shoulders and finding the sheets ruined along with cushions and pillows tossed over the ground. It wasn’t a good sight but I didn’t know what else to do.
“Goodmorning, Miranda!” Cora greeted me with a smile while carrying a tray of water and tea. “I hope you had a good night’s sleep.” She stepped into the room while my heart began beating fast.
I didn’t want anyone to know that we had been having s*x.
I quickly followed Cora and tossed the sheets that were on the ground up and above
