Chapter 5.

1080 Words
I blinked a few times as I reread Elliot's message. I fall into the chair and close my head, letting out a deep sigh. Those guys are ... idiots. What do they care? s*x, s*x and s*x. - Dear God, - I snorted and shook my head. My phone rings and I quickly grab it. Unknown number. Grace: Listen? And a perfectly heard voice is heard. Briana: Me, you, friends out on the town? Grace: When? - I laugh. Briana: Everyone knows you're Niall's new neighbor.. Grace: What's that...? - I get up from the chair and go to the closet. I open it and look for clothes. Briana: The guy every girl wants! Grace: Oh my God. Just don't tell me there will be a top three. Briana: We don't communicate with them sometimes, - she laughs out loud, so she has to take the phone away from ear. Grace: I'll pretend I understand. -Extend your thought. Briana: I'll come get you. In half an hour. Until the meeting. She ends the conversation with a goodbye. I pull out black ripped jeans, a simple white top and a leather jacket from the closet. I quickly change my clothes and put on my perfume. I go to the bathroom and dry my wet hair with a hair dryer. After drying my hair, I return to the room. I grab my school bag and pull out my wallet and keys. I put my wallet in a smaller brown leather backpack, and I keep my phone and keys in my hand. I leave the room, before turning off the light in the room and go downstairs. A car is just entering the yard. I kick my feet into white sneakers and leave the house. I look at the car and Liam and Briana are waving at me. I smile. I lock the house and run to their car. Without them, there is nothing else here. -Hello, -Briana turns to me. -It's been a while, - I put the keys in my backpack. - Yes, yes. Long hours have passed, -Liam answers and we all laugh. I lean forward, not bothering to fasten my seat belt. -What will we do? - First we go to KFC to eat, and then after dinner, - we will go to show you Times Square, - Briana. -Wonderful. what about us -Olivia with David. Nothing more, -Bri raises her hands. I fall into the seat and look through the windows of the car. -Besides. I want to warn you about Elliot...- I interrupt Liam laughing. - Don't worry about this. I know shitheads like him very well. Bri suddenly turns her whole body towards me. -What has he already enlightened to you? I wave and we stop at the KFC lot. - They are waiting for us, - Liam. We get out of Liam's car and the three of us go inside the building. There are really quite a few people here. We stop in line and I look around the restaurant. - No, just not that, - I close my eyes and try not to be noticed. - What? - Liam. I lead them to the next row with a glance. - Nothing new. Every time we come here they are the same, - shrugs Bri. We order chicken sets and Liam pays for us all. We climb the stairs to the second floor. We find Olivia and David sitting not far from the stairs at a table that was by the window. They wave to us and we sit down at the table. -Finally, our group has increased, -sighed Olivia - You are already bored. -Oh, Briana was really looking for an addition to your group, -I take a drink of cola. They all laugh. I punch David in the arm as he grabs my fries. -Friday party, -Liam. - Oh yes! Finally, -Bri crosses over. -Seriously? Parties? Please no. -I rolled my eyes. -Do you have more interesting suggestions, Combs?-Oli. -I nod and they stop eating, focusing their attention on me. Miss unavailable! No ... NO. I turn to the other side and see the magic three. I grit my teeth and smile. I turn away from them and close my eyes. - Don't say that someone is coming. - They are getting closer. That's ... weird, -David. I inhale air and open my eyes. -Do you need to say hello, Grace? - Eliot. - I think we clearly told each other what we wanted, - I smiled at him. Blonde tells Liam to leave the place, but he refuses. Jace stands like a normal guy. - Maybe you need to show how many free tables there are around here? - I shook my head. -Then go over with your friends and take a seat, -Blonde places his tray on the table, pushing Bri away and her food falls to the ground. - You can ... - Eliot interrupts Liam. - Don't cry, princess, - he laughs. I liked them. I pushed the blond's tray away and stood up. - Karma works, you know? Now we are settled, so I suggest we find other places. - Or what, loser? - blonde - Honey, you don't need to pretend to be something grand. We're all human and you're no different than us to lead someone, okay? - Grace, we're going, - Bri stood up. - Listen to your friends instead, - Eliot -Okay. But not because we are afraid of you, because remember you are nobody, but because we will not give way to fools. -Delicious. Everyone gets up from the table and we walk towards the stairs, but soon I feel someone grab my wrist and push me against the wall. I wince from the pain in my back. - If you expect that you can treat and talk to me like that, you are very wrong. - If you expect that I will get scared and start washing your feet, you are also very wrong. I look into the blond's dark blue eyes. He squeezes my hands harder and harder and I wince in pain. - Niall, let's go. Jace grabbed Niall's shoulder and pulled him away from me. The three of them hurried down the stairs and I was joined by David, Oli, Bri and Liam. -Girl, you are playing with your fate and you better be careful at school tomorrow, -Liam. We all laugh and go back to the dirty table.
