As we began our journey to the Infernal Shadows Pack and the car picked up speed, I leaned my head against the window and looked at the scenery we passed by, wondering about what would happen now, unsure what my future held.
Would Felix’s words come true? Would the pack members not welcome me as their Luna? Or would it be another way round? That they’d gladly welcome me since someone was finally able to “conquer” their playboy Alpha and made him want to settle down?
But since this was just a deal for a year, would Alpha Damien still secretly hooked up with other she-wolves? I wanted to ask him, but I was afraid he would think that I demanded too much. I couldn’t let him think about me that way since I needed his help.
