Behind him, I saw several other people - Beta Noah, Gamma Carl, and many huge, muscular werewolves, whom I supposed were his warriors.
I couldn’t believe it...
I couldn’t believe he brought his warriors to save me.
The helplessness I had felt before was replaced by a multitude of other emotions that burned my eyes, threatening tears to spill from them again just from the sight before me.
I vaguely felt one of the guards unlock the shackles on my wrists and ankles as my eyes were focused only on the one figure I had been waiting for.
But once I heard the click of the key and the lightness from not being chained anymore, I didn’t hesitate to run toward the open gate and throw myself into his arms.
