The day passed into evening, darkness fell and customers came and went. Brodie and Malik worked behind the bar and front of house as required. Brodie was impressed by Malik’s work ethic and her easy manner with the customers. While the rest of the staff cleared and cleaned their work areas, Malik and Brodie cleared the bar area, took the bottles out to the large bins at the rear of the building and restocked the bar for the next day. “So, what did you think of your first day?” Brodie enquired. “Good.
