Markov left and Brodie went over their conversation in his head as he sat in his car, waiting for the hood to power down. Malik had texted her address which Brodie entered into his satnav. He drove out of the carpark into the late afternoon Andalusian sunlight. He flicked his sun glasses down from his head and made for Garrucha. It didn’t take him long to find Malik’s accommodation, above some shops, in a whitewashed building behind the harbour. His satnav was able to give him directions to the building but not to a parking space, so Brodie decided to call Malik and tell her he was going to go round the block and would meet her at the kerbside.
